about

Wondrous Love (song)
Words and music adapted from the traditional
Margot first arranged this sacred harp song for her album 'Songlines'. The Sacred Harp was first a songbook published in 1844, and had nothing to do with the instrument! The term ‘sacred harp singing’ (also called ‘shape-note singing’) now refers to the practice of group singing for which the book was designed. It is still popular throughout the United States and the repertoire continues to grow.
