about

Rocking the Cradle (song)
Words and music traditional
This haunting lullaby comes from the singing of Paddy Tunney (1921-2002), a phenomenally influential singer and author from County Fermanagh. He and his mother Brigid were both highly acclaimed singers. Though many of Tunney’s recordings and books are now out of print, the impact of his lifework on traditional singing cannot be overstated.
